Ok, finished?  Lets get started.

You know, I have listened to many sermons on many subjects, including the one above, TV ministries included. But not once did I ever hear an in depth clarification of exactly what the LORD was saying when HE made this statement. I did know that the different salvation statements seemed to conflict with each other Take, for example, the following verse: Mark 16: 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And the verse; John 6:  40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. See the conflict. Mark 16: 16 says that one must be baptized as well as believe to receive salvation. While John 6: 40 says that salvation comes from seeing or recognizing the LORD as well as believing in HIM. And then, along comes John 6: 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life, which only ask that one only believeth in him to have everlasting life, depending on which version of the Bible you happen to be reading. No wonder, there are so many denominations within the Christian faith.

I know this must seem like nit-picking and it might be. But if these different ways of receiving salvation gave me a problem, I'm sure there must be other saved souls in the world who are experiencing the same dilemma.

I don't remember exactly where or when I received my enlightenment, but I did.   And ever sense I received my illumination, I don't look at religion, the church, other people or myself the same. The contradictions which bothered me before, no longer bother me. After reading my message, I think you will have a similar experience.

The Meat and Potatoes

"Truly I say to you, He who has faith in me has eternal life."

Beautiful, is it not, and great news for all of us who have faith. And that is the key.  What is the key you say? The key is the simplicity of the statement. The LORD made it so easy for us to receive salvation, that it is impossible for us to not receive or loose our salvation.  WE AS SPIRITS ARE BORN WITH SALVATION.

Yea, I know, most ministries speak about the universal love of our LORD. But the churches fail to make it clear just how much our LORD really loves all, and I mean ALL, of HIS children.

When was the last time you herd your pastor talk about how the rapist or murderer or prostitute or adulterer or the pedophile or the Atheists or any of the countless sinners in the world, having the exact same salvation as any church going, GOD loving Christian has?  Not often right?  I know I hadn't. This is why I  was driven  to post this message.

Yes, I know the LORD made many salvation statements. And because HE made many varied SALVATION statements, a state of confusion must exist. I also say that no one statement holds any more or less significance than the last. I feel that all statements should be taken seriously. And that what HE does not say about salvation, is just as important as what HE does say.

When the LORD created us, in body and soul, or spirit,  HE gave us free will. This was done so that we could (using our free will) chose to accept or deny HIM as our LORD and SAVIOR. HE knows that we are not perfect. So, therefore, because we have free will, we are going to make mistakes, some of us, worse than others.  And to give us, in a way we might understand, forgiveness for our mistakes, HE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE CRUCIFIED. HIS primary concern was that we chose (using our free will) to not DENY HIM as our LORD and SAVIOR.

DENY! I believe this is the word which causes the most confusion between the non-believers and believers, the Atheists, the Agnostic or any of the myriad of religions practiced.  When I say deny, I'm not speaking in terms of the classic dictionary definition, i.e, refute, refuse, renounce, reject, rebuff. I'm not talking about the, (there is no GOD or GODS of any kind), type of denial, an atheists might espouse.  Or the, (I don't know whether or not GOD exists), type of denial an Agnostic might adhere to. Or the ancient Roman belief in many GODS.  I believe the LORD meant to DENY in the manner of someone KNOWING OR BELIEVING HE exists but deciding to reject HIM. Saying, yes I know there is a God but I don't want to have anything to do with HIM or HIS salvation.

And if you really want to get technical about it, I believe that you don't have to accept HIM, at least, not in the way that most ministers say you have to, i.e, confessing. I believe, that we, as spirits and children of the LORD, are automatically saved, are born spiritually saved. This includes the spirits of babies conceived and born in the most remote, uncivilized,  uncultured parts of the world. Babies, who for some reason, had no chance, in body, to reach that point in their lives when they could make a decision as to what religion or faith they would confess to or not confess to.

This includes the spirit of those peoples of the world who made a decision to practice some other religion other than Christianity and the spirit of those who, like Atheists, don't believe in any deity. Some Atheists, in spirit and body,  reject the existence of the LORD, while others just don't believe in any religion. The rejecters of HIS existence might have a problem. But, and here is the good news, the Atheists who just don't believe in the LORD, whether they want salvation or not, and because they did not reject or deny JESUS, are saved. The Agnostics, who just question the existence of the LORD, can really start smiling. Although they might never enjoy the happiness that knowing they are saved  will bring, their spirits, without doubt, are saved just the same.

Whether or not salvation happens at the moment of conception is still up for debate. But, I think, and you might agree, that the LORD would not leave, to chance, something as important as salvation. Leave to chance the fact that his children might or might not reach the bodily age and maturity and literacy and enlightenment and acceptance, necessary to be saved. He, therefore, must give the gift of spiritual salvation, at least, at the point of birth. And because you were born spiritually saved, the only way you can loose this salvation is to DENY it.  And because you can not deny something of which you have no knowledge, peoples in parts of the world, who have never herd of or believe in our LORD, are saved. This is why, new born babies are saved, or rather their spirit is. This is why, no matter who you are or where you are in the world, you, like all of the LORDS children, are SAVED.

    Nail it home.

It is important to keep in mind what HE DID NOT SAY in HIS statements. What HE does not say about salvation is what ties all the salvation statements together.

Like I said earlier, HE made it so simple for us to have salvation that we can not default.  Believe in HIM and or rather don't DENY HIM and you are AUTOMATICALLY SAVED. Doesn't matter how much you may have sinned. Your sins are mistakes  for which you are  forgiven. Mistakes which you made because of your free will.

Although, it is agreed, that the true evidence of your love and belief in the LORD will manifest it self in your behavior. I still say that if you BELIEVE in HIM OR don't DENY HIM, no mater how you behave, you are SAVED.

The ONLY way you can LOOSE your salvation is to DENY the LORD as your LORD AND SAVIOR.

This is why I wish that some of these so called ministers would stop preaching fear. Wish they would stop talking about how sinners are going to hell. These sinners are just as saved as any BELIEVER .  Our LORD is a loving and forgiving FATHER. HE would not condemn someone to hell just because they made a mistake. I wish they would start preaching about HIS true love and forgiveness. I wish They would bring this subject up, more often in their ministries.

This message is intended to bring joy to those, who, because of there actions, are living in fear of the possible loss of their salvation. Don't sweat it, relax you are saved.

The very fact that you believe in salvation, is in it's self, acknowledgment of the LORD.

Now I'm not advocating anyone continue with their sinning ways. That is not what the LORD wants for us. I'm just saying that, in spite of your sinning ways, You, in spirit, are still SAVED. Except it, enjoy it and go in peace.

I could go on and on about this subject but I think I have made my point, so I'll stop here.
